Broadcast SMS from our Pingtext website to lists you can compile automatically.

The Pingtext Broadcast manager allows you to compile lists of mobile phone numbers, upload them to a web console and then send text messages out to those lists. The service will send messages to any mobile number in the UK or many European countries. In this respect it is the same as other Broadcast Managers available to you. In other respects it is completely different.

Create Lists 'on the fly'.

As well as creating and uploading lists in the traditional manner (adding numbers to a CSV file and uploading it to the platform or just manually adding numbers on the website) Message Squared uses an API-driven list compiler. You can automatically add and remove mobile numbers from your lists using our simple API.

Every time a mobile calls your IVR service, uses your existing SMS or voice applications or enters a mobile number onto your website add them into your lists within the platform. You could even add every mobile number that calls your business into a list without any manual intervention.

Pingtext is divided into two basic functions: List Compiler and Transmissions.  The List compiler deals with the creation and maintenance of the lists containing mobile numbers and the Transmission functions look after the scheduling and sending of messages to those lists.

Personalise outbound SMS Broadcasts

Each record within a list can include other information in addition to a user's mobile number.  The TAG field would traditionally be used to store the name of the person alongside their mobile number. If, within your transmission message, you then insert %TAG when the transmission is sent the target's name will be inserted into the message.

For Example within the database we have a record within a list that holds the following fields:

MSISDN                 TAG

447966123456, Mr Stephens

If the Transmission reads "Free Msg: Hello %TAG. Just a quick message to say that St John's School will be closed today because of the snowy weather" then the message received by the mobile phone would read "Free Msg: Hello Mr Stephens. Just a quick message to say that St John's School will be closed today because of the snowy weather"

'Wash' your lists for security and regulatory control.

Clean lists make for happy regulators – With the platform’s advanced list washing features you can keep lists updated and free from numbers that are non-profitable, blacklisted or ‘opt-outs’. You can also use the API to remove numbers so users can ‘opt-out’ from your website, by phone or any other method you can think of.

We can send out through your own chosen aggregator or work with Square1 and benefit from our own volume rates and discounts from a range of UK and International network partners. We are integrated with most UK aggregators and several international providers.

Pingtext can send 'free to receive'

SMS messages or it can be configured to

send Premium SMS. This allows it to be used as a subscription management tool.

As a promotional tool SMS is a far more effective means of getting your message across.

Every time a mobile dials your number we can

add it into your own account on our Pingtext Broadcast Manager.
